Renewable Energy is Not Green, It’s Blue!

Water has been the main source of renewable, non-carbon emitting electricity and produces 1/6th of all the electricity in the world to be the single largest source of renewable energy. Since over 70% of the Blue Planet is covered with water, using water to produce power makes good sense. But 96% of Earth’s water is in oceans which have not been widely used to produce electricity.

Since the first hydroelectric power plant was built in 1878, hydroelectric power plants use gravity to flow water to a hydroelectric generator to transmit electrons to your home for you to use. Most other forms of electricity production also use water in one form or another such as steam or cooling.

Despite this positive history, few people in the US consider hydropower when they discuss renewable energy sources. Environmental issues such as fish kill, downstream ecological/agricultural issues, and dam failure are critical issues that have stopped US development.

Poseidon Hydroelectric System avoids these issues and provides renewable energy 24/7 without a dam on a pond, lake, river, or ocean. Since production is controlled by the operators not nature, Poseidon provides a clean, reliable source of energy. No batteries, tides, currents, wind, sun, or fuel are needed as it runs on the most constant source of power in the galaxy – GRAVITY! When located close to population centers, transmission line costs are minimized for a production cost of less than a penny per kilowatt hour! Best of all – NO carbon or radiation emissions or other harm to the environment!
